For this Project we made 700 backpacks out of 8 upcycled spinnaker sails donated by Balbino Gallego and B17 Sails.
​
The spinnaker sail (nylon) is very similar to a parachute and has a long period of life but once it’s broken it’s hard to repair it.
​
​We loved being part of this Project that addresses environmental and social solutions.
“It’s more than just a sports race, it’s a movement towards sustainability.
​
The goal is that it becomes a place where technology and regenerative techniques meet. We want to share the magic of sharing clean energy and that all collected proceeds go to Enseña por México to eradicate educational enequity.”
